Cuyabeno River Lodge Has sponsored scientific research groups into the Cuyabeno regions ever since the creation of the Lodge and the establishment of the reserve in 1979. Each year freshwater dolphins swim closer to our canoes and scrambling monkeys frolic over the towering canopy. Over 400 species of birds thrash about the most exuberant vegetation that defies identification.
