CHIMBORAZO
2-DAY CLIMB

DAY 1: Leaving Quito at 9:00 am with your guide, we will drive south for approximately five hours to the first refuge center on Chimborazo at 4800 m. After lunch, we will walk from that point with all of the gear to 5000 m to the second refuge center and go through a glacier training course with the guide before dinner and a short rest until 11 pm.

DAY 2: Our 7-8 hour climb to the summit will begin at approximately 12:00 am to the Whymper summit at 6,310 m. The return climb takes approximately three to four hours, enjoying beautiful view of the Andes mountain range. Return to Quito around 4 pm.
