DAY 1: Leaving Quito at 8:00 am in private transportation, we will travel south for approximately five hours to an area called Releche that sits at 3000 m. After arriving we will prepare our gear for the following day’s departure and rest at the Hotel Releche.

DAY 2: After breakfast we will begin our five to six hour trek to our second camp, Collanes, which sits at 3800 m. Upon arrival we will rest and have dinner.

DAY 3: We will continue our trek around the Laguna Verde crater (4400 m) for an additional five to six hours to our next base camp.

DAY 4: The final day will involve approximately four hours of trekking to return to our first camp in Releche followed by our return to Quito.
