TOUR TO THE TOURISTIC PASSAGE AT “LAS GOLONDRINAS”
Located At 4.000 m.a.s.l. we will descend to 1.060 m.a.s.l. Going through three different ecological floors.

  • SUB-ALPINE PLUVIAL MOOR (FRAY JONES OF THE “EL ANGEL” ECOLOGICAL RESERVE
    MOUNTAINOUS CLOUD FOREST (THE PROTECTED “GOLONDRINAS” FOREST)
    PRE-MOUNTAINOUS FOREST

LOCATION: EL ANGEL-ESPEJO-CARCHI

NIGHT 1:
DAY 1:6:30 pm. Arrival to the city of “El Angel”, and welcoming by our guide in the Espejo bus station and we will take you to your hotel for your first night of rest at about 7:00 pm. Dinner and rest.
DAY 1:
DAY 1:07:00 am. Making our way out of the city of “El Angel”, we will be transported to the sector “Socavones”.
08:30 am. We will arrive to “Socavones” and begin our hike to the “Moran” Lookout point.
09:00 am. After getting to the “Moran” Lookout point, located at about 4.000 m.a.s.l., we will have a small snack and continue on our way up to the White Water waterfall, where we will be having lunch; and then we will make our way to the Moran community.
15:30 pm. We will arrive to the Moran community where will have a short rest, and the
n enjoy a welcoming by the community itself; dinner (tipical foods), and a long awaited rest.
DAY 2:
07:00 am. A delicious typical breakfast. 08:00 am. Exiting on horseback, towards the “La Cortadera” community. 10:30 am. When we arrive to the “La Cortadera” community, we’ll have lunch, and we’ll continue on our way on horseback towards the “El Pailon” waterfall. 02:00 pm. After arriving to the “El Pailon “ waterfall, we’ll geto f the horses and have a short rest. 02:30 pm. We will then begin our hike towards the “Corazón” Lookout Point. 05:30 pm. With the arrival to the “Corazón” Lookout point, we will rest and have dinner; tonight we will have a delightful stay in tents. B/L/D .
DAY 3:
  07:00 am. Breakfast 09:00 am. We’ll begin our hike up to the “Las Juntas” community. 01:00 pm. After arriving to the “Las Juntas community, we will have lunch. 02:00 pm. We’ll make our Exit towards the city of Ibarra in private transportation. 04:00 pm. Arrival to Ibarra’s bus terminal. B/L/-
